The Conference Organising Committee is also working in collaboration with the PECS Scientific Committee.

PECS activities are guided by the PECS Scientific Committee (PECS-SC), which is appointed jointly by the International Council for Science (ICSU) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In performing these functions, the Scientific Committee will be supported by an International Programme Office, which is hosted by the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC). The PECS-SC consists of a Chair and 12 additional members that are appointed for a period of three years, renewable once. In addition each sponsor, and the Scientific Committee for DIVERSITAS, have representatives serving as ex-officio members. More information...
